These terms, as supplemented or modified by "supplemental terms of use" and other site specific terms that are posted on a particular site or specifically agreed to in a separate document by the site operator are binding upon you if you use one or more of these sites.
1.Parties- Although software, hosting, and other services and content may be provided by Operator's service providers (hereinafter referred to as "Service Providers"), other businesses affiliated with Operator (hereinafter referred to as "Affiliates"), or merely in a business relationship with Operator (hereinafter referred to as "Business Partners"), these Sites are commercially operated by General Electric International, Inc. ("Operator" or "GEII").
The intended third-party beneficiaries of these Terms of Use are Affiliates and Business Partners. Individuals under the age of eighteen (18) are not the target audience or intended audience for this website.
2. Changes in terms- Those who have completed the registration process (referred to as "Registered Users") will be notified of any changes to these Terms whenever they occur. After such modifications, you must accept the revised Terms by continuing to use the Sites. Do not use the Sites or download anything from them if you do not agree to comply by these Terms or any subsequently amended terms.
3. Site Changes (s). Any aspect of the Sites, including the accessibility of any features or content under its control, may be terminated, removed, modified, changed, suspended, or discontinued by Operator. The availability of any features or content that they control may also be terminated, removed, modified, changed, suspended, or discontinued by Service Providers, Affiliates, and Business Partners. Operators are free to place restrictions on particular features and services, as well as to end or limit your access to all or part of any Site without incurring any liability, as long as Registered Users are given prior notice. In the event that a user materially violates this Agreement, Operator may additionally, without incurring any liability: (a) delete, modify, or otherwise change the user's access to the Site;the type or location of the Operator equipment, facilities, or software used by it in providing access; (b) supplement or make changes to its user access or security procedures with notice to Registered Users; and (c) provided that no such action shall have the effect of amending or otherwise affecting the parties' respective obligations under any contract with Operator or its Affiliates. All duties that were in place before termination must continue after it.
4. Privacy Principles. The sort of information that Operator and its Business Partners, Service Providers, and Affiliates gather when you visit the Sites and how they use that information are both covered by Operator's Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. 5. Ownership Rights. The following conditions apply to all activity on the Sites, unless clearly stated otherwise by Operator or one of its Service Providers, Affiliates, or Business Partners.
a) Confidentiality- The following limitations apply to the usage of the Sites' content: I if any information is marked "Proprietary" or "Confidential" or words to that effect, you will treat it with confidentiality, use it only in connection with the activities for which you have been granted access to the Sites, and refrain from publishing or otherwise disclosing it to third parties; (ii) if any information contains restrictions on use or disclosure, you will abide by the restrictions; and (iii) you will maintain the integrity of all restrictive language in all copies.
b) Copyrights in all content- including but not limited to design, text, software, technical drawings, configurations, graphics, other files, and their coordination, selection, and arrangement, are reserved by Operator and its Service Providers, Affiliates, and Business Partners. Without the owner of the copyright's prior written consent, you are not permitted to construct derivative works based on such content or to modify, copy, distribute, frame, reproduce, republish, download, display, post, transmit, or sell such content in whole or in part. Such behaviour is not permitted if it would put the operator, its service providers, affiliates, or business partners at a disadvantage or be competitive with them. Copyright and other proprietary notices must be preserved in their entirety.
c) Trademarks- Without the owner's prior written consent, no trademark, service mark, certification mark, collective mark, or trade dress (collectively "Trademarks") held by the operator, service providers, affiliates, or business partners may be copied, imitated, or used in any way, in whole or in part. The Operator, Service Providers, Affiliates, or Business Partners may own the Trademarks for all page headers, original graphics, and button icons. These items may not be duplicated, imitated, or used in any way, in whole or in part, without the owner's prior written consent.
D) Patents- One or more patents may cover or be subject to certain items and procedures utilised on the websites, in addition to other trade secrets and intellectual rights. All such rights are reserved by the operator, service providers, affiliates, and business partners. You certify that you won't violate these rights by decompiling, reverse-engineering, or disassembling any of the things you find on the websites.
E) Software- Any software used or accessed through the Sites, including any files, images generated by the software, code, and data that accompany the software (collectively, "Software"), may be used by you solely for accessing and using the Sites for purposes that are expressly stated on the Sites or in an applicable written document, as long as such uses do not compete with or disparage Operator or its Service Providers, Affiliates, or Business Partners. The full and complete ownership of all intellectual property rights remains with Operator and its Service Providers, Affiliates, and Business Partners.
